The Round Garden
The finale to the tour is the Round Garden. It is here we grow a concentration of nectar plants - including many herbs - are grown in colours that flow from pastel pinks and lavender blues through to the richer violet, magenta and crimson. The flowering period begins in May and continues until October when the winter show of grasses and seed-heads remain for us and our wildlife to appreciate. The open, sunny site makes this garden particularly attractive to butterflies, bees and other beneficial insects. The design of concentric paths enables us to experience closely the scent, aroma and the exquisite detail of the plants and the fascinating creatures they support.
